[vc_row][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]Solar radar speed signs provide visual enforcement of the designated speed and a proven ability to influence driver behaviour to reduce speed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The radar speed sign detects the speed of each vehicle as it approaches, displaying the vehicles speed in red and then a red sad face, when over the designated speed limit, and in green, with a green happy face when below or at the speed limit set.<\/p>\n

Radar Speed Signs are used as a traffic calming device in addition to, or instead of physical devices such as speed humps. Typically installed in areas where speeding vehicles are in close proximity to pedestrians such as school zones, construction zones and residential areas.<\/p>\n

The minimal current draw of the system is simply and effectively powered using solar energy. A Bluetooth APP (android) allows control over the full dot matrix display area to change the posted speed limit between 00 – 99 Km\/h and system analysis. Once the speed is set the radar detects oncoming vehicles and displays the vehicle speed.<\/p>\n
